Hello players! Do you remember the excitement of May 2022 in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS? I certainly do. The store was absolutely packed with new content, from a galaxy-themed Survivor Pass to a quirky duck costume and elegant spring outfits. It was a month that offered something for every taste. Let’s take a nostalgic trip back and explore everything that was available. After all, who doesn’t love a good walk down memory lane?
🚀 Galaxy Squad Survivor Pass
The headline act was the Survivor Pass: Galaxy Squad. I remember grinding through those levels to unlock futuristic skins. The pass came in two packages: the Weapon & Level Pack for 3,270 G-Coin, and the Weapon Pack for 990 G-Coin. The sales period ran from May 10 to July 5 on PC, and from May 19 to July 14 on console. Who could resist dominating the battlegrounds with a galaxy squad aesthetic? The image below captures the vibe perfectly.

🔫 Cyber Threat AWM
Next up was the Cyber Threat AWM skin. I’m a sniper at heart, so this one caught my eye immediately. It came with bonus G-Coin, which was a nice touch. The set was available for PC (Steam, KAKAO) and console, with the same sales window as the Survivor Pass. A futuristic AWM? Yes, please. I still think it looked sleek.

🦆 B.Duck Collaboration
Now, here’s something that made me smile: the B.Duck collaboration. Quack! You could literally turn yourself into a giant rubber duck and swim with the rubber duck in Sanhok’s river. The bundle cost 1,990 G-Coin, and there were individual weapon skins like the B.Duck DP28, Beryl M762, PP-19 Bizon, Skorpion, and even a Pan. Prices ranged from 500 to 990 G-Coin. The sales period was longer, from May 17 to August 9 on PC, and May 19 to August 10 on console. Who wouldn’t want to waddle around the map as a duck? It was pure fun.

🌸 Spring Collection
For those who preferred elegance over silliness, the Spring Collection offered outfits like the Spring Walk Outfit Set (600 G-Coin), Spring Evening Outfit Set (1,250 G-Coin), and Spring Stroll Outfit Set (700 G-Coin). There were also backpacks, helmets, and emotes like Victory Dance 86 and 87. The sales period stretched all the way to November 8 on PC. I remember picking up the Spring Evening Jacket and feeling like a gentleman on the battlefield. Isn’t it funny how a simple skin can change your whole mood?

🥇 Gold or Silver SLR?
A tough choice: the Gold Plate SLR or the Silver Plate SLR? Both were available from May 10 to August 30 on PC, and May 19 to August 30 on console. I’m still torn. Which one would you pick? I think I’d go with gold for that extra bling.

🎲 Your Shop Reopening
Your Shop made a comeback, letting players test their luck for personalized deals. It was open from May 24 to June 7 on PC, and May 24 to June 15 on console. I always enjoyed the thrill of seeing what discounts I’d get. Did you get anything good?

⏳ Departing Collaborations
Several collaborative skins were leaving the store, so I had to act fast. The SAMSARA emote was available until May 17 on PC and May 18 on console. Then there were the Nameplates – Two Smoking Barrels, Adrenaline, Julie, and The End – each 500 G-Coin, leaving around the same time. I grabbed the Julie nameplate because it looked cool.

Also, if you had leftover Esports Points (EP), you could spend them on PCS6 items like the PCS6 Brushstroke Pan (125,000 EP), PCS6 Hairstyle (75,000 EP), and more. These were available until May 24 on PC. I managed to get the PCS6 M416 skin, and it felt like a badge of honor.
The Explorer sets – Pathfinder, Survivors Biker, and Hiker’s – were also on their way out. They were priced at 1,190 G-Coin each for the sets, with individual items ranging from 150 to 700 G-Coin. The sales ended on May 24 for PC and June 1 for console. I remember the Pathfinder’s Uniform looked particularly sharp.
Fresh Hoods brought streetwear vibes with the Commando Pack (990 G-Coin) and Crew Cropped Pack (700 G-Coin), plus individual hoodies and jackets. These left on May 30 for PC and May 31 for console. I snagged the Rainbow Panda Bomber Jacket – it was a statement piece.
Finally, PUBG Partner J0 goods were saying goodbye. J0’s 7PUPU Team Jumpsuit (1,000 G-Coin) and J0’s Mk47 Mutant (990 G-Coin) were available until May 31 on PC and June 1 on console. I’m a fan of J0, so I made sure to grab the Mutant skin.
Looking back, May 2022 was a whirlwind of skins, passes, and collaborations. It’s amazing how much content PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS packed into a single month. If you were there, what was your favorite item? If you missed it, well, at least we have the memories. And who knows? Maybe some of these items will return in future events. Until then, keep surviving and keep styling!
